Hi-Pe’s strategic vision was recently the focus of an interview given by our General Manager Marco Guerrini to the specialized online publication Operations Manager.
In the article, Marco explores Hi-Pe’s journey towards innovation, emphasizing that the true engine of innovation isn’t just technical expertise but, above all, the quality of the people who make up the team. According to the General Manager, internal dialogue and the active involvement of employees are key to turning ideas into concrete results.
The interview explored the different forms of innovation adopted by the company. In the high-voltage sector, the focus is on process optimization, with the adoption of a make-to-order model that has reduced stock and streamlined production flows. In contrast, in the furnace and boiler sectors, innovation is driven by stringent international regulations, which push the company to develop increasingly advanced products.
A crucial aspect highlighted by Guerrini is the management of “overlap times” – the period during which the old and new systems coexist during a transition. This strategic approach reduces risks and guides the organization through the change. Finally, the article reiterates the importance of a solid supply chain: the selection of suppliers isn’t based on the lowest price but on their reliability and ability to support diverse and increasingly complex requests.
