The memorandum of understanding between HI-PE, Demont, Sikel and the Algerian company SOMIZ, a subsidiary of the Sonatrach group, has been signed by the representatives of the four companies.
The main purpose of this agreement is to supply furnaces, heat exchangers, boilers and desalinators in Algerian territories, with the assistance of SOMIZ workshops which will be responsible for the assembly operations of these components.
The Algerian company will gradually acquire more competences, expanding its activities to further process phases until reaching complete autonomy over time.
This operation will facilitate HI-PE in the customs clearance of equipments and enable it to strengthen its presence in a promising and strategic area for its business.
