If I had to describe HI-PE in one word, I would say ‘gearing’.

It is like a complex mechanism where every element must fit together perfectly to get the job done in the best possible way.

The success of any project requires the contribution of everyone, each with his or her own small part playing a fundamental role. It would be unthinkable to have one person centralising everything on himself.

PROCESS ENGINEER – BOILERS

ALESSIA

My journey in HI-PE began in 2021 after completing a research period at university.
Currently, I work as a process engineer in the boiler section and I am responsible for the development of process engineering and thermodynamic calculations.
What I value most about this company is the opportunity to be involved in every phase of a project, with a 360-degree view.
The process starts with the quotation phase, where we analyze the project and develop the offer, followed by its transformation into a formal job order.
At this stage, the pace picks up significantly: this involves engineering, procuring materials and components, prefabricating in the workshop, and, in some cases, assembly on-site.
The highlight of this journey is the commissioning of the plant, a moment I had the good fortune to experience first-hand last year, following the site operations for two months.
An extremely stimulating experience that enriched my professional background, allowing me to observe the project evolve in every phase, rather than focusing on a single specific aspect.

One of the aspects I most appreciate at HI-PE is the great attention the management pays to dialogue and involvement of all employees.

Since taking on the role, the General Manager has promoted a culture of collaboration by setting up weekly cross-functional meetings.

These meetings are a valuable opportunity to review the company’s progress, tackle challenges together and seize opportunities that arise.

INTERGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM MANAGER

GIULIO

After completing my studies, I began my career in 1996 in the quality department at Nuova Magrini Galileo.
Over the years I have witnessed the various changes that have taken place in the company since then, from the arrival of Demont to the creation of HI-PE as we see it today.
As head of integrated management systems, I deal with quality, safety and environment, taking care of documentation, procedures, databases and audits with certification bodies.
My responsibilities also include monitoring various plans and programs, as well as collecting and processing performance indicators useful for management reviews.
This role allows me to apply an analytical approach and deepen my knowledge on specific issues, something I have always appreciated in my professional career, even in more operational areas.
The biggest challenge? The need to increasingly integrate critical issues, such as sustainability, into our processes. This involves rethinking production methods and the use of resources.
HI-PE is aware of this challenge, which cannot be ignored, and which requires, even today, that we move to develop innovative solutions.

Working at HI-PE provides the unique opportunity to contribute to a niche sector.

Our success is based on the experience accumulated over the years, starting with Magrini Galileo, followed by Demont, and now at HI-PE. A history made up of skills and values handed down over time, a precious heritage not easily found in other organizations.

PRODUCT MANAGER – HIGH VOLTAGE

MATTEO

I began my career at HI-PE in 2021, focusing on the high voltage sector.
Initially, I worked as a tester in the HV test room, and in 2023, I transitioned to the role of Product Manager.
In my current position, I play a crucial role in facilitating a smooth materials procurement process.
I identify key issues, collaborate with purchasing and production teams, and engage with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
If I had to describe HI-PE, I would say that it is a company that knows how to involve its employees by offering a dynamic and stimulating working environment, but at the same time serene and positive.
Here, I have found a cohesive team with solid industry experience.
While generational differences may occasionally arise, there is a strong willingness to communicate and support one another.
This combination of experience and desire to grow creates a very special workplace, where everyone can make their own contribution and is ready to take on challenges with enthusiasm.
